Psychodiagnostic Assessments

Psychodiagnostic assessment is an assessment often used to help identify and differentiate a client’s symptoms, enhance diagnostic accuracy, and provide insight into a client’s daily experience. The assessment typically combines objective psychological testing, a comprehensive clinical interview, and a review of collateral information to identify areas of psychological concern and diagnostic symptoms as well as areas of resilience and client strengths. This information is used to generate a comprehensive treatment plan as well as appropriate treatment recommendations.

Psychoeducational Assessments

Psychoeducational assessments are specialized assessments aimed at understanding a client’s unique strengths and potential challenges to academic and occupational success, including ADHD or learning difficulties and disorders. These assessments include a comprehensive clinical interview, objective psychological testing, and a review of collateral documentation (e.g., academic records) to generate recommendations to enhance academic or occupational functioning.

Psychological Legal Assessments

Independent psychological legal assessments are specialized assessments requested by insurance providers, lawyers, or other third parties to provide information regarding the nature and severity of an individual’s psychological injuries as well as the potential relationship between a traumatic event and a person’s psychological difficulties. An objective review of collateral documentation, clinical interview and psychological testing is completed to generate information regarding the prognosis for an individual’s personal, social, and occupational functioning as well as appropriate recommendations for treatment.

Psychological Risk Assessments

Psychological risk assessments are specialized assessments to provide information regarding an individual’s risk for reoffending. Assessments include objective psychological testing, a comprehensive clinical interview, and review of legal and collateral documentation as well as the completion of risk assessment measures to provide information regarding an individual’s risk for reoffending as well as appropriate risk management strategies.
