Dr. Driscoll works collaboratively with her clients to identify treatment goals that help clients gain insight into problems and identify solutions to change unhealthy ways of thinking and behaving in order to promote psychological health and well-being. In order to maximize the effectiveness of treatment, Dr. Driscoll incorporates a number of empirically supported treatment methods in her practice, including cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness strategies, interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy.

A strong therapeutic alliance (the relationship between the client and the therapist) has consistently been demonstrated to be a primary factor in the successful outcome of therapeutic interventions. Dr. Driscoll strives to create a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic relationship in a warm, professional, and nonjudgmental environment.
